Adaptive Cruise Control *Added*
Can someone who has access to the service manual confirm if the inline C145 connector is pinned the same way on a 2018 as it is on a 2016? I lost my access to the service manual so can't look it up myself.
I plan to add the pre-18 ACC to my STX as I have no interest in going through the hassle of adding an IPMA and all that entails for the newer system. All I need is a source for the canbus somewhere in the engine bay and it looks like C145 may be it where it goes down to the power steering module. If so, it should be an easy swap. I'll grab the canbus signal there and grab power/ground from the grill shutters for the CCM. Other than the CCM, I should only need the 15-17 steering wheel switch.

So you may be the first if it is actually possible.

There are also a couple of HOW-TO docs listed in the posts, use the search function.

Did you have any problems?
Did you drop the bumper or go through the grill? (assuming you have the 3.5 ecobeast)
Thanks!
Getting ready to source parts for my 2017 Lariat 501A to do this mod.
If anyone has spare parts they want to sell, please message me via PM with part numbers and price including shipping to 84075.
Thanks!
PS I'm not in a hurry, so might not get back to you right away. Budgets matter...

When working on my system I figured out all of the engineering numbers that correspond to the spare parts numbers posted in the parts list here.
Then using the engineering number you can search eBay since that is what they are listed under because that part number is embossed on the back of parts.
I posted a table with all of this for a 2018.
You can use eBay images and key words to review and piece together this information for your year. It has not been done yet for 2015-2017.
If you're lucky you can for example find a CCM with bracket. Note on the CCM and steering wheel switches you need the exact part number for 2015-2017 F150. I had CCM errors because I accidentally had a 2019 part plugged in on my 2018. You should definitely be able to find one used.
I also found a used IMPA.
And I found the HUD with bracket and used, so it was far cheaper. You can pull that from my parts list since it did not change across years.
They are readily available on eBay.
Buy new for the wiring harness, they are not expensive.
I went in via the grille instead of removing the bumper. I think both work.

Would love to add adaptive cruise to my 2020 502A Lariat! Not confident in my ability to do it but may just order the parts and see if I can find someone to assist me in doing the install and programming.
Not 100% familiar with 2020, check the dedicated thread. However I think with a 502a you are most of the way there and should have the correct wires up to the bumper and the correct windshield, for two examples.
Thanks! Yes, I have lane keeping so windshield is correct! Can't find a dedicated 2020 thread though. Guess I will dig though the 2019 thread and do some research.
I tried to add it to my truck and found most of the wiring missing. I have a 2019 502A Lariat with everything except the tech package and the wiring for the front radar is non-existent alway the way back to the BCM.
You'd have to run all new leads from the BCM out to the front of the truck and repin the connector down by the radiator.
