I was under the impression the harness for 2.7/3.5 supplies the power. I thought the 5.0 needed separate power run to the harness. Is this something I will have to do for my 2.7?

Ok, so let's just say I'm pretty sure mine is not latest firmware, can it be updated w/ forescan or is a trip to the stealership in my future? Mine does sporadically slam on the brakes when passing certain shiny trucks.

There is a beta-tester version of FORScan that I have that can update firmware but the regular ELM327 adapters aren't capable of this so you'd probably need a trip to the dealership if you want the firmware updated.

I tried that and ran it to the blue/yellow cable and can’t get anything

As of right now I have my wife ran into the fuse box and then down to the blue/yellow (I think) wire of the CCM. Can anyone take a video and send it my way so I can see what I’m doing wrong?

Which wire is it from the upper shutter harness?
i ran the wire from the fuse box (fuse 110), but I’m interested in tapping power from closer by.
For the fellow having trouble with the steel plates, I’d say yes, your sensor is aimed too low.

I currently have it in the same fuse, 110. I gave up on the shutter harness because I couldn’t find the right spot apparently (story of my life). Did you run your directly into the blue/yellow wire from the fuse box?
