Adaptive Cruise Control *Added*
Yes stopped in there this afternoon and spoke to them, It appears that, from what they say, it all ties to the VIN and the options on that VIN out of the factory. They said the same thing about upgrading my standard mirrors to tow mirrors. I have the 502a package with blis, puddle, camera and spot light. I am sure someone can find a work around eventually, but as far as a dealer is concerned, they aren't going to 'lie' to the computer to get it to work.
Now I cross my fingers that the FORScan guys can figure this out.

And I'm wondering the opposite - could I put 15-17 adaptive in my 18 and have ACC without the need for the cameras, etc. to get start/stop. Hopefully, someone smarter than me will figure it out!
I also believe that is not possible at the moment due to the BCM. I think I am right.
As far as I can tell, 2018 502a w/ Tech Package trucks need the following parts:
Camera Module w/ speed control - Part# JL3T-19H406-CE
Radar distance sensor w/ pre-crash - Part# H1BZ-9E731-AE
Cluster Module - Part# FL3Z-19G468-A
Cluster Trim Cover - Part# FL3Z-15043C54-BA
Cruise Switch - Part# JL3Z-9C888-FA
Wire Harness - Part# JL3Z-15K867-J
Mount bracket - Part# JL3Z-14C022-A
Plus the various studs and bolts for the mount bracket
The problem is getting the ACC calibration process to work on a 2018 truck that did not have it as a factory-installed option that got tied to the VIN. At this point, the dealer would be the only possible source for getting the calibration process triggered, as IDS would be required. However, my understanding is that the ACC calibration process is tied to the VIN on 2018 trucks (unlike previous years), and I've not seen any confirmation that even IDS can get around this. FORScan does not yet have the ability, and many of us 2018 owners are waiting for this to get sorted out before ordering parts.
If you have any luck with the dealer (and by extension IDS), please report back and let us know!

Someone quite a few posts back discovered that the calibration is way different because of the stop/start, cameras, etc. involved in the '18, and that's evidently the issue.
I got most of the parts the brackets say 15-17 are the 18 bumpers different and also has anyone actually got this to work on a 300-02a trim level in a 2018? I haven't been keeping up just gathering parts for acc and my 4" to 8" conversion but I have the cluster already also plus wheel and controls harness and pigtail camera module just need a few small parts and brackets
