All I did was remove the grill to mount the bracket, it seemed easier than the bumper and I've got pretty big hands but could still get to everything through the top.
Took off the front grill today and removed old CCM bracket and fit new stop & go CCM bracket in there to the top 2 bolt holes but as you can see from the pictures the rest of the holes don't even come close to mating up in my '16 bumper. Sooooo....debating how/if to proceed at this point; maybe having a shop make a custom bracket or something.
It's just the two bumper holes, correct? I'd get a strip of aluminum 1" wide, maybe 2" long and drill holes to mount the bracket to the bumper. I would go this was as opposed to fabricating a new bracket. Small piece to bridge the gap.
Can't tell distance from you pictures, but the gap doesn't look too big. Just a thought.

I think I'm going to order a set of the the studs for the '18 CCM to see if the length of them is shorter. The top CCM mounting hole is obscured behind by the polished steel part of the bumper (red arrow in pic below) and the whole bracket isn't sitting 90 degrees straight in there; it's probably sitting at 80 degrees. I'm worried there's not enough space behind the bracket for the studs before they'll bottom out against the black area of the bumper/frame in the pictures also.

Dealer had my truck for 6 weeks to the day today redoing their work 4 times from the slight rear end bump I got back in July. As a partial sorry they knew I was adding the adaptive CC so they installed my parts for me while it was there, leaving me to do the programming. I know the truck knows the sensor is there because there is a collision warning system message when you start the truck. Hopefully the programming will go smoothly, now to find all the codes to change.
