That's what I have.

Then I am another ideal candidate to try this on my truck. I'm extremely handy and plenty of experience with tearing apart cars, trucks and motorcycles for modifications all my life. I've made a number of changes to my truck via Forscan with no issues. I'm an electrician my trade and I went to college for computer engineering.

Adaptive cruise control and the 360 camera were things I REALLY wanted in my truck but every dealer orders lariats and up with the stupid moonroof that is a huge waste of money. While the tech package is an after thought in their minds even though they're about the same money.

Sounds like you'll be capable of completing this. The important thing is that you've got the 502A with the 8" cluster.

From everything I've found, the 360 cam uses a different dash harness and engine bay harness from a "regular" 502A.

I'm also working on adding lane keeping and active park assist. Neither are inexpensive. Adaptive cruise is peanuts compress to lane assist. Just the lane mirror alone is 1300 USD. I got lucky and found a used one for just shy of 300.

Console harness has to be changed and they are different 15 to 16. Even just the plastic piece around the shifter to hold the apa/la buttons is 240 bucks.

It gets a little better (price wise) if you already have APA or LA as they share the console harness.

Would a decent mechanic or collision shop have IDS? Looking for an option that might be cheaper and more willing to assist.

Changed to XFXX-XXXX-XXXX and now have "Cruise" options in advanced settings.

At this point, I'm calling adaptive cruise complete!

So your saying you've done it completely in forscan without using IDS? or did I miss something along the way?

No, he used IDS to calibrate it. No way around it.

Nothing, it's part of the adaptive cruise system

Now I really want to do this. Apprehensive about taking out the airbag though.
