Well after discussing it with DanMc85 I'm going to try again with the first '18 CCM I got (the small one in pic below) that was designated for CADS. Dan suggested (and I think he's correct) that the larger '18 CCM I got is for a Raptor (which didn't get the stop & go in the '18s) and hence the older part # on it even though it shows as appropriate for 2018s on Fordparts.com. In the 2nd pic you can clearly see that the normal CCM mounting bracket won't work with the smaller CCM so despite the correct mounting bracket not being listed on fordparts, a nice guy at AutoNaton White Bear Lake parts thinks he found the correct one for me but it's backordered until the end of the month. Anyways, still need to figure out how to mount this newer IPMA to the windshield bracket and then we'll have some answers.

'18 CCM-CADS & '18 Raptor CCM

Any suggestions for any Forscan changes that would allow ACC without the HUD? And not throw any codes.

Two of the FORScan changes made in the IPC are for collision warning... if you didn't enable those bits theoretically it shouldn't be able to throw any HUD DTC's I would think.

That is IF it even is...I haven't seen techietruckguy report back one way or the other.

Can anyone help me out? I added ACC to my 302a today, but have not done the HUD.
I did the calibration and still have a number of DTC's and have seemed to have lost standard cruise as well. I didn't make the 2 IPC changes related to Collision Warning.

Here's my module ABT's if that helps.
I made this change, to 4 - should it be different with no HUD?

Got it fixed with Livnitup's help. Turns out that you need these 2 IPC changes -even without installing the HUD.
720-01-02 xxxx 5xxx 5=Coll Warn Sensitivity Pres
720-04-01 Exxx xxxx xxxx E=Coll Warn On/Off Pres

There's one remaining DTC in the CCM - "Lost Communication With The HUD" - but everything seems to work.

One note on installing the CCM wire above the bumper, a few directions I read said to remove the Foglights when removing the Bumper/existing harness. It's much easier to simply remove the connection at the foglight, rather than fighting to remove the whole thing.
Thanks to everyone who pioneered this great upgrade - you make this the best F150 site there is!!

Correct. Only shows when running Forscan.
