Strange, I have head some have found it taped up around the main bundle real hard to spot. You did say your truck is a 501A Lariat right and that is the most common package on the Lariat.

yes 501. There is a bundle of wire hooked to a push pin and taped, but no plug spotted or felt from the blank opening. Not really any way to see that area from under the dash either. Any ideas?

Anybody know if the system will still work qithout the hud?

The HUD is for collision warning so it is possible that the adaptive cruise would work without that portion hooked up. Also you could remove your cluster, then you could see what that bundle of wires was.

If you find that you don't have the connection, it's not hard to make a harness to add to your existing wiring following this diagram so you could have the entire system.

5 should be BCM instead of BMC...I blame my chubby fingers for not listening to my brain..
Is EU2Z-14474-AA the correct terminals for C2280A? How would you find the terminals for C210? And pinouts for both
thanks

Am I wrong to assume the since my truck doesn't have a Hud connector, that the BCM pins #6 and #11 are empty and I can simply add a terminal?
Or will I need to splice into an existing wire at those spots and at C210 pins 9 &10?

yes, EU2Z-14474-AA is the correct terminals for C2280A

Here is a picture of the C210 female connector with the #9 & #10 highlighted

I have not seen a truck without the HUD harness in place from the factory myself, but looking at the connection diagrams I believe they will not be occupied if you don't have the HUD connection

Update on stop & go:

Looks like AutoNation sent me a '17 CCM instead of an '18 CCM because the firmware on it isn't '18 firmware & the part # doesn't jive with an '18 CCM so I'm going to need to get the right one from them to continue. Anyways, here's where the bad news comes...I still tried forcing '18 firmware on that '17 CCM and the '18 firmware strategy file won't write to it. So this means that any pre-2018 CCM won't be able to be updated for stop & go. I still don't know if I'll be able to get it to work even when I get the correct '18 CCM but the glimmer of hope for pre-2018 ACC CCMs being able to be updated seems dead.

That's my assumption, if I can find the correct terminals to fit C210 - I'll order two of them and 2 of EU2Z-14474-AA with my other ACC parts. If the terminals are occupied, I'll have to splice in I guess.
Going to do the heated steering wheel mod as well, I think that requires pin 15 or 16 on C2280A as well. Will try to run everything at the same time.
