Thank you so much for those that helped start this project and livinitup for his help in the forscan programming and calibration. Definitely would have been a "wish I could" mod if you guys aren't here!

I wanted to ask how the collision warning is triggered. I tried an empty box and driving 5+mph. Nothing happens to my HUD(does light up at initial start) or sound plays. I do have the option in my pic.

do I need to add another fuse somewhere to have it do something?

thanks all!
Did you wire power and ground from the battery? I think someone posted earlier in this thread you needed to get power from the batter junction box.

nope no need to run extra wire. I used the solid gray wire within the new harness(this is a switched 12v feed for the bov and shutters) so I just spliced the blue/yellow with one of the solid grays(there are two)

the ccm already had a ground in the harness that is being used

use fordparts.com and add white bear lake as your dealer. They do 10$ over night shipping and are one of the cheapest.

Levittown has been a little cheaper for me.

I might be mistaken, is the Collison warning only for when you are using the acc or either way?

Collision warning works all the time if it's enabled on the 8" IPC. Do you have the option and is it turned on?

I can get it to trigger every time if I have the sensitivity turned up and do some late braking at stop lights. lol There's really no way to test it otherwise.

Yup have it enabled in the ipc with high sensitivity. I did the forscan changes in all the module's. I wonder if there is a different value s8nce it's an XLT. For those that did the acc on an XLT does your collision warning work?

Do you have to be pretty close to a vehicle for it to trigger?

If enabled should be always on, but I believe you need to be going a specific rate of speed for it to trigger. Otherwise it would pick up cars breaking for stop lights/signs, parking lots, etc...

Tascaparts.com is pretty good if you send what your after to Steve. He had a running thread on the forums or you can private message him. He will definitely work with you on shipping costs.
