Adaptive Cruise Control *Added*

Yes, the bottom studs are run all the way in. I put thread locker on them prior to screwing them into the bracket.

I was able to install all the parts last week and then update the Forscan code and run the sensor calibration thru IDS last night. I can confirm that it works, and it works GREAT!!!
Thanks to everyone in this thread that paved the way. Truly excellent work.
The only area of confusion that I ran into that I sort of fudged my way through, that could be clarified for anyone else installing this later on, is the mounting and vertical alignment of the sensor.
Mounting the bracket is easy but I wasn't 100% sure how the sensor was to be mounted to the bracket and then what exactly was used to make the vertical adjustment. I think I have it right, and it work, but I'm not sure.

I've just completed the install and made all changes to the module via Forscan and have an appointment to get the sensor calibrated on Wednesday. It looks like everything is right, but wanted make sure before my appointment. I can toggle the cruise control switch and get a response, but if I don't do it quick enough I get a message on the IPC that says collision detection not available and then it doesn't respond. I'm assuming that's because the sensor hasn't been calibrated yet and will work properly once it has. Does that sound right to those that have completed this project?

The only thing that requires IDS is the actual calibration of the sensor (horizontal calibration.) All other changes are FORScan based on the table that EBM posted above.
A dealer can set up the calibration and perform it within 15 minutes and have you out the door in under a half hour.
Per 1st-F-150:
CCM Calibration
Go into Electrical, CCM, then Calibrate. You have to drive for a few minutes straight over 30 MPH and after 5 or so minutes the IPC message goes away.

He hasn't done the calibration yet. Without it calibrated here is what i see on mine.
Cruise control on/off button works
Distance setting buttons work.
I can not use the set button as a i get an error adaptive cruise not available. No notices about collisions detection etc

I didn't pull the bumper. I pulled the front grill and did it all that way.
Got everything programmed and it all works as expected. Had to change an additional bit to the IPC to get the Collision detection to work. Actually tested it and it does work!

I'm wondering if maybe I get that message because of one of the changes I made in the IPC. It's listed wrong in one of the earlier posts and I may have entered it wrong because of it. For 720-04-01 it shows Exxx-xxxx-xxxxE. There's one too many digits there and I just put the E at the end.
Edit: Deleted that post from him, not the location i want. I need to find it.

Thanks. Just tried it and still get that same message in the IPC. Hopefully, I wont have any issues calibrating that sensor. Once I get that message, I am unable to toggle the cruise on or off.
