Very nice FordVader. I am in RR as well, who did your install? I have a RC lift and looking for an installer but not finding many options in the local area.

FordVader What kind of turning radius are you getting? 2 lane, 3 lane, or more to comfortably pop a U-y?

@TexasFord82 The computer says 12.9 MPG around Austin/Round Rock, but I haven't reprogrammed the computer for the oversized wheels yet.

@CJS-F150 I had my lift done in Fort Worth by the dealer I bought the truck from before I took delivery. Not sure who they used.

@oncearound123, Haven't paid much attention to turning radius. I'll test it out and get back to you.

If its absolutely your last option go with ford but they scam the crap out of you. They wanted 8K to install just the lift and nothing else. I can get a local place to do the same lift for 4K but with tires, rims, etc.

Oncearound, that's that individual dealer. I'm all in for $51,500 on my fully loaded and lifted Platinum. It is all in the "art of the deal", but I have longevity with this dealer. I've purchased several trucks from them in the past and also take really good care of my vehicles so I get premium trade-in as well.

I agree that it is just one dealer and not all the same. I too have a decent relationship with this dealer since this is where I do my regular service and have bought other vehicles from. Im from Palm Beach so I presume they just try to get as much money as the can from all the kids running around on daddy's credit card... I was more of implying that in general a dealer will not be your cheapest option and your best bet is taking the time to knock on all the doors.

I completely agree that it is far cheaper to get it done on your own. I considered it, but like the idea that it is all wrapped up in a warranty through my Ford dealer. Hope you figure out which one you like and get it for a decent price.

Thanks, after digging through some other posts/ input on this one and looking at all the warranties and how they are designed I decided to go with the upgraded BDS lift. Place in town that does specializes in lifts quoted me 5500 for the lift, tires, wheels, and labor. Now its just a matter of when I have time to take it in.
