12k miles on my 2017 and I just put the 5100s on the rear. Stupid easy install of course.
I'm a believer. The ride is noticeably better. I can 'feel' imperfections, but i'm not jostled all over the place anymore.

Are the fronts noticeably better as well? (please don't say yes, I can't drop $300 on them right now! LOL)

I will say the fronts are definitely a more “firm” ride, on the 2.1” setting.

What's the part number for the 17 rear shocks? I need to pick these up asap. Tired of the terrible planting of the rear end.

Yes, the change of shocks to the rear was a big improvement, definitely worth it. I no longer have the rear end hopping sideways, it's a much more stable ride. Others may disagree but I did not feel the changing the front was worth it and knowing what I know now would not have done it. I left the setting on the lowest ring to get the softest ride and least lift. The ride is not any worse but did not notice a difference one way or the other.

Oh, so that's the reason my stock '15 4x4 Ecoboost Platinum makes me about lose control when going over angled bumps, eh? Dagnabbedit, Ford should've used better standard shocks! I'd have paid another what, $200 or so? Hey Ford, that ain't a good testimony for your F150!

How hard are the fronts to install? I looked at them, and whew, it looks like front shocks are stuck down inside coils...

I'm not displeased at all with the current ride of my stock 2018 F-150. I think it rides great for what it is intended to be. That just goes to show you that we're all different in more way than most will recognize. This is not intended as an argument but only a personal opinion.

You may not have noticed any difference on the bottom setting. My fronts are set at the 3/4" or so setting, and noticed it corners flatter now. I don't know if you'd call it preload or not, but possibly a higher setting would give better results.
