5.0L Coyote V-8
I continue to be amazed by the smoothness, sound, and power of the 5.0L Coyote V-8 in my '15 Platinum!

Yup, I had the eco in 2 previous trucks, great motor, but i really like this 5.0. I put magna flow exhaust[19080] on it. Perfect, nice tone but not too loud with no drone.

The sales guys were definitely not happy that I had to have the V8. Probably because out of the 500 trucks on the local lots 20-25 of them were V8s.
I don't regret the decision at all. Sounds amazing. As far as mileage, it improves over my 03 5.4 Triton which was the requirement.

5.Slo is what we've always called it. I'm on Ecoboost #2, I drove the 5.0 and was extremely disappointed. It did sound good though.
My better half has a 15 mustang 5.0 and it will **** and get! Love it!
But you are making the payments so whatever floats your boat!!

If it ain't a V8, it ain't a truck, its a rice burner, that's my opinion on it. Say what you will about how awesome the ecoboost is. But I want to hear all the crap about how much people wish they had got a V8 when their ecoboost craps out at 100,000 miles. Heard to many horror stories, gonna cost me to much to fix once its out of warranty, fence why I went with the V8. That is all.
