5.0L Coyote Leveling Thread
Hey folks, new member here. I recently came into a new-to-me 2018 5.0L STX with the 6.7' box and just about everything else bone stock. I have been spending more time than is worth admitting looking into affordable leveling struts and coilovers. From the few mentions I can find of 5.0 owners who have tried different products, it seems people aren't getting the advertised amount of ride height increase on the 5.0 with some of the more inexpensive products. I initially assumed this was because of curb weight, but today I decided to call Eibach and ask directly about both the Pro Truck Leveling Struts (E60-35-037-08-10) and the Pro Truck 2.0 Coilovers (EIB-E86-35-035-01-20). The well-informed customer service guy told me there wasn't a kit designed for the 5.0 and that there was no way to know how much height I would get out of the existing ones that seem to be designed for the 3.5. I asked if it was about the curb weight and he said not entirely. He said the seats could be different and really the whole system could be different and you might not even get half of the advertised height. Then he casually mentioned if I could wait, they are currently testing something specifically for the coyotes and that I should call back in about 3 weeks! I was close to deciding to take a risk on the Eibach Pro Truck Leveling Struts with the Eibach springs that advertise 2.7", but he totally changed my mind when he said a new design was on the way specifically for my truck. SO, while I do plan on waiting for this exciting development from our friends at Eibach to come to pass, I would love to hear from 5.0 owners about non-strut spacer leveling and how it has worked out for them. As always, if I have missed a thread that is already open- help me f150 forum veterans

One of the best-looking SCABs I've seen. Those Kings don't fit my defintion of affordable though, but they do look like they are pretty friggin sweet from a performance standpoint.
Thanks for the pic. That amount of rake looks good. This brings up another question. My rear fender sits just shy of 2.7" higher above the tire than the front fender. This pic and the 1.76 you mentioned seems like you had less difference to make up for on the front. Maybe because I have a tow package or something? Could also just be difficult to tell from the picture.

'20 5.0,FX4 Scab. I thought I'd try some Rancho Quick Lift loaded coilovers. Advertised as 2.5" lift, got 2.5" lift. I think I'd stick with manufacturers like Fox, HaloLifts, and in this case Ranchos, to be replaced with HaloLifts when the time comes. Owning 3 different 150's, and using Bilteins, spacers, and coilovers over the 3 of them, I've always gotten the amount of lift advertised. 2 of the 150's were 5.0's, and 1 was a 3.5.
As far as not even getting half the advertised lift as CS said, that doesn't even sound logical.
I sent an email to Eibach a couple months ago asking if their shocks were aluminum or steel. Got an email a few "days" later from CS stating I would have to talk to engineering and their materials were proprietary. Yeah right, Don't think Eibach is on my radar if CS can't even answer a simple question like that.

. Blessings!If you haven't done this before there are many great write ups on here covering different ways to do it and I added one as well. I've done it a couple of different ways and the one I posted recently was by far the easiest.
