If you want some comparison performance on a 2013 Ram 8 speed with a 3.55 rear go to the link.
The 2013 Ford was a 3.5 EcoBoost with a 3.73 rear

Again it is not a comparison to the new 5.0 but maybe it will help.

lol at trying to race a lifted half ton... you will get destroyed.

heaviest option package, heaviest cab, lifted to kill the aerodynamics, and big heavy wheels and tires....
Just make sure you take a video of your reaction when you get beat. $50 says you say something along the lines of 'haters gonna hate' or 'at least my truck looks better'.

This thread is ridiculous!! The Hemi Ram has no chance against any 5.0, 2.7 or 3.5. 6 or 8speed transmission.Jan 2015 Car and driver posted a 0-60mph time of 7.4 seconds and a quarter mile time of 15.7@88mph.This was a crew cab 4x4 Laramie longhorn with a 3.21 rear gear 8speed. Sure the 3.92 would be quicker but still not enough to beat our trucks. The 3.5 platinum in the test did 5.6 and 14.4 quarter with 3.55's. We know the new 5.0 is pretty close to that with the right gear. I say no contest.
