5.0 highway mpg's
Pretty happy with the fuel mileage on my '17 supercab with the 5.0
We just came back from a 3000 mile road trip and the truck averaged 21mpg for the whole trip. I did use the data from the dash only, however the mileage has proved to work out pretty closely to hand calculations in the past on this vehicle. This is mostly driving an average of more than 70mph, and probably at least half of it running between 75 to 79 mph on the I35 corridor from South Texas to Minneapolis. Driving the speed limit I'm sure would have improved the mileage at least a little.
No point to this thread I suppose, just an FYI.
Carry on.

Just finished a 4000 mile trip...over 3000 on Interstates...averaged 19.8 mpg. Drove at 10% over the speed limit, 700lb of payload, spent 4+ hours stuck in traffic jams (1 hour dead stopped for an accident), and drove around downtown DC and Boston. My 2.0L Focus wouldn't have done much better than my Coyote with all that crap my family brought along.

I just traded mine in on an Ecoboost 3.5.. but the lifetime avg. (47k miles) was around 18.7mpg on the LOM. That included 2-3k miles of towing a 6,500lbs open car trailer and a decent amount of furniture moving for friends / family. I did see 21-22 mpg on acouple longer trips we took her on.

I can't complain at all. I average right around 19.5 with a 16 supercrew 4x4 with 3.55. To the OP, what ratio is yours and do the 17s have a 10 speed or 6 speed transmission?

I am averaging 16.8 with 34" tires and do a mix bag of highway/city driving. Headed to the beach at the end of the month, very curious what I'll average on a ~7 hr highway drive.

331's and a six speed. IT was a left over that I bought at the start of the that was heavily discounted, so I scooped it up
