Aw I understand. I do remember those days. Enjoy

Except for the comment of this being the wrong forum for 2013, I stand corrected. I had been told 4A was the only position for flat towing when I had been thinking about going from a '16 2WD to a '17 or '18.

I should know better than to take a sales rep's word without double checking at least the owner's manual or the service department.

Freaking sales guys, they have one job, know what they are selling. I probably have more knowledge from reading these forums for a week than the sales guys I worked with have.

In the end, I from the little I know, I would prefer the 4A for snow covered roads and keep 4H for off road, but as others have said, for snow covered you can use 4H for most applications.

Actually, it is better than that. You can use 2H for daily driving, switch to 4A only in questionable weather conditions, and you still have 4H and 4L for when you need them.
