The real tell on how much of an animal it will be, is when we see the plotted HP and Torque curves.
My real question is how much extra will the tuners drag out of it. One of the main limiting factors of the first 3.5EB was fuel delivery and many are hoping that is resolved with the dual injection system. GM apparently has faith in the co-developed 10 speed since they're bolting it into an 850HP Camaro.
Anyone think we'll see an 850HP VelociRaptor from Hennessey?

But at the same time, the Shelby had a DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder motor. Vs the Camaro's pushrod. But yea I'd take the Shelby any day regardless

As much as I love the raptor I'd much prefer a reborn lightning. Assuming the new one is anything like the old one it will be merely OK acceleration (based on numbers this seems likely) and abysmal road manners like the last one.
Despite that I do want my truck to look like the raptor and keep its current suspension

If only you could get the 6.5ft bed on the Raptor.

As a hot rodder they are an exceptional engine. Small on the outside with plenty of bore space to make big strokers. But in Stock form they are beginning to fall short imo.
