Default 4” suspension lift with tires and rims

I’m undecided if I wanna do the full 4” suspension lift and spend the money or just get a leveling kit done for a much cheaper cost. If anyone has a 4” suspension kit done with tires and rims could you show me please!

I went through the same process... trying to decide if I should level or lift. In the end, I decided to go with the lift. I am putting mine in the shop Monday morning to have a 4" lift put on it. I am sticking with my stock rims (for now.. will see how they look) and will be adding 35 Toyo RT's.

If you're spending "half the cost" for a level compared to any lift you're spending waaaay too much.

Also, the guys that do end up putting the lift on and do the 4" usually end up wishing they would have done the 6".

I'm in no way saying which is better or looks better. (lift)

Send me a picture once it’s all finished!

I know a leveling kit is way cheaper then a lift. And a 6” lift to me is too much, but that’s just my opinion. It’s either a 4” suspension lift or just get a 2” level. Pros and cons to both just hard to make a decision on which one.

I’m thinking of going with a 4” as well. Right now I have a 2” level and the height is okay. I want to get some aftermarket wheels and 35s but don’t want a huge truck. I have to get in and out of the bed all the time so the higher isn’t necessarily better for me.
I want to see a 4” next to a 6” to see how much it really differs. Might have to go down to a local shop and see what they have.

I am interested as well to see the results of a 4 inch lift. I have a two inch level right now which I think is actually a tad under 2 inches. I want to be able to still get into my garage with a 4 inch level. Does anyone have measurements height wise ground to the cab roof with a 4 inch lift. I know tires may also make the difference so I guess with 35's. Any below will be easy to figure out.

Be sure to play it a little safe here. Just remember someone who has had a kit installed for awhile might be a bit lower after settling than a fresh install.

You were right on with the tires though.
