Question 4.2" to 8" sync3 conversion done- few issues need help

I recently did the 4 to 8 conversion in my 2017. I used the harness from 4dtech and piecemealed all the other parts together from there. Its 97% functional but I have a few hiccups. When initially started the system it showed Version 1.0 on sync3 so I did the update to version 3.0 using the old hub before hooking up the new CarPlay hub. Maybe jumping from 1 to 3 was a no-no?? I used forscan to copy AsBuilt data from a similar truck in hopes of making it all work. But still have some bugs.

Here are the bugs:
CarPlay works but wont read text messages and I cant hear the other end of a phone call when made thru the CarPlay app (cabled connected)
Siri doesn't have a voice when I press the home button but I do get turn by turn audio directions when using CarPlay navigation
Normal sync phone calls don't work either. If I get a call on Bluetooth connection it switches to AM radio and when I answer I cant hear the caller as the radio still plays but they can hear me (so mic is working).
GPS time is stuck on Central timezone but the compass works. I live in AZ so setting the clock once manually isn't an issue but its just another small issue.

Any help is appreciated...

There's a change in the ACM that needs to be made. Mine did the same when I did the conversion.

Read this. It goes with a video I made. Pay particular attention or skip directly to the last page.
