35" Tires Rubbing + Cosmetic Stuff-Platinum
I just got my new 2015 Platinum and love it. I put some 20" rims on with 305/55/R20 wheels on her, and the tires are rubbing even with my 2" leveling kit.
I'm increasing it to 2.5 today, so hopefully that will do the trick. I'm new to doing any after-market mods, so I'm thinking maybe I went too wide with the tire.
It doesn't help getting in and out of the garage either!
I custom ordered a Lariat that had everything a platinum would have except for the chrome and badging, but after 7 weeks with no vin number, I got restless and picked up a platinum thinking it would be easy to just paint the chrome grill (black), handles, mirror, and paint the "Platiunum" panel oxford white to match the truck. Well, Ford makes it sound like it's impossible to paint over chrome, and the wrap guy says I should paint it.
We will see what happens, but hopefully I'll find a shop here n Jacksonville to take on the project.
I'll report back on whether or not the extra half inch does the trick with the tires.

Your tires are 33" not 35". The reason your rubbing is because the wheel offset is aggressive, not because it is only a 2" level. The further you move the wheel out, the wider it will swing when you turn.

too bad it looks awesome. Why didn't the guy that did the lift for you tell you the tires wouldn't fit? I'm in the same boat, total newbie to this stuff putting on coil overs in the front that adjust to 3" and a 2.5' block in the back. I ordered 20" rims but my guy gave me very few tire options because of the lift height and the offset I wanted. He appears to be keeping me around 34"

Assumed
I think he assumed that they fit on the 14s so it would fit on the 15. If it doesn't fit still, I will go with a skinnier tire, which is fine, because it will make it fit a little better in the garage!
I'm taking it to a body shop this afternoon to see about getting rid of all the chrome.
Stay tuned.

As a rookie, I don't know about offset. The extra half inch didn't quite do it. It still rubs a little up against that new bar behind the bumper. We're going with a tire thats 1 1/2" less wide, and hoping that should do the trick.
Also, I found a shop that thinks they can wrap the chrome parts for me, and the "Platinum" panel, so I'll be swinging by there later.
I'll update with info and pics as it progresses.
