I received some bright 3156 LED "projector" bulbs this afternoon with the intent of replacing the reverse lights on my 2016 Platinum. Well... I pop out the BLIS taillights, and it's an integrated unit! There's no discrete reverse bulb readily available. Same with the HMBL... all of the lights are on an integrated board.

So, are these fancy LED bulbs useless for my truck? Is there anywhere I can install them? I'm running short on options.

I got them on Amazon Prime and never installed them... they'll go back if I can't find a place to put them on the truck. And the search function is leading me to believe I can't use them in any factory housing.

Nope and FWIW, I got the Sylvania ZEVO 3156 for my standard reverse bulbs, they dont work. After buying them, I did a google search and it appears the 3156 ZEVO bulbs wont work in my reverse bulbs for whatever reason. I did have some that worked, but they were a 3157 that I removed 2 tabs on (were switchbacks, removed the 2 tabs for the amber color). These babies are bright!!!
