Hard to really do anything "in" the grille itself because right behind it are the active shutters.

there is already a link in this thread for someone who did the work to put it exactly where I am talking about in a lariat grille. Active shutters weren't an issue.

I'm post #158+ in this thread. Looks like I installed mine 2 years ago. Looks, works just the same as the day it was installed.

Someone early in the thread posted that theirs had started to yellow so they were returning it. My truck is parked in the sun a lot, so that was a concern. Glad yours are holding up.

Mine got water in three of the LEDs and two of them turned green within a year of installing it. Lens had no damage to indicate a rock hitting them or anything. Warranty was great and I was able to gety money back through Amazon and get something else.
