I think I might do what Brad did. He said they installed pretty easily, since he was just cutting into plastic. Thing is... do I want to install another switch or run them off the same relay that's running my front light bar...

Exactly what I was thinking. Should be easy to just add the wires to my existing light bar harness. I would love the extra light.

I was thinking of putting in the Rigid Dualy's in amber color... but that would mean I would need a new light switch as I'd want to use those in bad weather and not turn on the white bar... AHHH choices, what to do what to do...

I also have 3000k LED fogs coming in a week or so, so I might just use those... bleh! I need a 2nd truck

That isn't my truck though. I was just replying to Scharft, it's his truck. I want to know what kind of cubes he used and how he did the install.

I got a e-mail saying they were backordered and would not sip till next month.

Asked for clarification on the part number & lumens, we shall see.

This is what's listed on the web page.

  • 30.625" LED Light Bar
  • 15 degree focus lenses
  • 6' degrees off set Radius
  • High Quality NICHIA LEDs
  • 3 Watts per LED.
  • 8100 lumen light output
  • 0.75” x 1.5” in depth
  • Anodized Matte Black Finish.
  • Works with Industry Standard Brackets and Mounts.
  • Full wiring harness with deutsche connectors included.
  • Multiple Patents Pending – Design and Utility
  • Manufactured and Assembled in USA by Putco.
Putco High Power Luminix 30.625 inch curved LED Light Bars use Nichia 5.4W LEDs, and focus lenses that concentrate the light beam path to produce 8100 lumens. The slim design of these Putco Luminix LED light bars makes them 300% smaller than other LED light bars on the market which makes them ideal for installation in narrow openings. The Putco 10033 LED light bar is constructed with black powder-coated 6061 billet aluminium, and has an Anodized matte black finish. A full wiring harness with deutsche connectors is included along with the adjustable mounting brackets for an easy install on your truck, SUV, ATV or any other off-road vehicle.

Just a PSA for those considering this mod with a King Ranch. It does not fit under the grill. It will only slide in about 1/4" on the edges. Any more and it is touching the grill and you can't aim it. I just bought the exact light to do the mod. Installed it this afternoon. With that said, it still looks very clean and does help a lot with lighting the road for deer and hills above the projector cutoff. I will post some pics later when I get off work. Really like the look of the light bar.

Here are some pics of it installed on my KingRanch. Once against it does not clear the grill enough to slide under it but just a little. I guess the Platinum grill has a little more clearance.

One more thing to the debate above on 10,800 lumens for 10033. That is the part number I ordered and the description on Amazon states 10,800. Checked Putco's website and could not find any other version of the 30" Luminix curved.

I have a lariat and I was able to get my bar completely under the grille but I also have the problem of not being able to aim the light. I wanted some extra light output but I'm not a fan of the large lightbars and wanted to keep a sleek front end look. it gives me enough extra light that I need but this might not be the way for everyone to go. this light has a great output and is very bright.
