Google iron/aluminum thermite. Maybe then you'll understand why you need a separate room for aluminum. It's not just for cleanliness and paint quality.

He also told me that if wanted spend $20,000 if be Ford Certified aluminum body shop. telling me that Only clean aluminum clean room type aka hospital for cars clean

So i call the dealer where i bought the truck & they can't fix it; 1) there not ready to do these kinds of repair, 2) there not certified.

So I call another FORD Dealer Near by, they are & can do the repairs( GREAT! )

Now Have something that came up & i'll have to wait until i hear back from that(lawyers.) before i can file the claim with insurance company.
If you go to http://collision.ford.com/find-a-collision-shop and search shops find one that says ...

Specialties
Aluminum F-Series Repair

They can repair it, a ford dealer does not have to fix it. I have 4 independent shops within 50 miles from me that ford has certified.

Lucky for you! Where i live there is only 2 & both are dealers. None of the locals can repair or choose not to do the work ,because of cost of having to invest a separate shop building

I disagree 100%...

Bed liner and or Line-X would have made a huge difference.

Seems like it would be easy enough to bang it back out and weld it. Doesn't have to be beautiful inside the bed.

Got any proof that a sharp heavy object can't penetrate and damage the metal? I know it can protect a concrete block wall from an explosion, but have not seen it stop a bullet. Can it prevent an axe from slicing through. because basically, that is what happened.

Not that it can't, but I have doubts it can stop what happened in this particular case. If anyone want's to volunteer their linex'd bed, I have some 9MM laying around.
