3 strikes your out. Dealer buys back 2015 truck

My truck had problems after the first weekend of ownership started with about 500 kms on it. As soon as I would put it into drive the screen would light up and was showing service advance trac, hill start assist not available, hill decent not available and the battery error then it would stall out and it wouldn't drive in forward, towed to dealer. First time lead them to change the PCM which took about a week to arrive. I picked it up and the next morning the same issue, towed again..Dealer troubleshot it with talking to ford and ended up changing the battery, they kept it and their tech drove it like his own for about a week with no problems. I pick it up on a Thursday and Friday morning same issue only right away this time without putting into drive and it would stall out in park. I was done with the truck as I hadn't even burnt a tank of gas in it myself yet so I told dealer I was done and they needed to get me another truck.
All I can say is my dealer is top class with the best customer service I have ever had. After the second time I was dealing directly with the owner of the dealership who insured me I would be taken care of and after the battery change and everything worked and all the road testing they did which was about 300 kms we said hey it's all good now so I took it back but it died on me the next day. I didn't know how and if the dealer would meet their claim that I would be taken care of but they had a 2015 demo deliverd to my house for me to drive for the time being and i was told on Monday that I would not have to worry they were going to get me into another truck and take mine back as this was not right for me to have these issues and the lack of confidence in my brand new truck.
At this point they don't want me to have to wait for a factory order so they are looking at dealer trades even if it means upgrading me with more options at no cost and if all else fails they have already ordered me a truck but don't think I should have to wait for the factory order. I will say it Again best service I think you will ever find. If your looking for a FORD in the in the GTA or Ontario for that matter and want to buy with knowing that if **** happens you will be PROPERLY taken care of shoot me a PM and I will give you the dealer info these guys are a class act.
Ford on the other hand I have to say was terrible with their customer service, their best was to say we will continue to fix it under warranty, sorry but not good enough for a guy who only had his truck in his actual possession for about 6 days without even burning a tank of gas and the rest of the time it's been in the shop, It hasn't even been a month since I picked it up. What would it be for them to take it back compared to me the small guy with a family who needs a reliable vehicle. Absolutely terrible on fords part.
This made me realize more than the getting the best price at the end of the day you need a really good dealer who gives a **** and thankfully mine does.
My old new F150 continues to sit without answers and ford engineers on the way to figure it out. My best guess is a short in the harness somewhere which will be like trying to find a needle in a hay stack.

Nice that the dealer is being great to deal with. So many horror stories about big box dealers saying screw the customer after signing on the dotted line. Hope the new ride treats you well.

Thats great news and your dealer is first class for not abandoning you, I am sure though, FMC had a hand in it silently also.

Outstanding news! Your dealer went far and above what Ford did for you, and rightfully so. It has become obvious to me that Ford is out of touch with the customer - no sympathy or understanding of the customer's situation. What matters to Ford is doing what is lawful, not what is right. We know how corrupt the law is. Abiding by the law does not = justice! I am so glad to hear that you didn't have to take the lemon law route. You already went through enough as it was.
Nice to hear this great news!!!

That's awesome that your dealer was great. They earned a customer for life not to mention all the referrals you will send them. A smart dealer understands that the service after the sale is really what builds loyalty and repeat sales.
