3" level, with new UCA's?
So I put 2.5" level kit in the 2018, and 295/70/18's. Goes together great, but even with the 2.5 up front and stock rear, it still sits a whole freakin inch shorter up front. I just really dislike the rake. I considered 3" spacers up front, but of course this puts things in an awkward position. I did find some new upper control arms that correct the joint angle, so this looks like it could work. The only thing I'm left worried about is the driveshaft angle.
Is the UCA the main issue with the 3", or is the axle angle to much at 3" afterwards also? Because I can apperantly correct the UCA, but the front shafts don't get any help. Anybody run 3" and have any input on any problems had with the shaft angles?

Thanks! I couldn't stand the stock rake, it looked like it was about to nosedive into the pavement. Lol it's definitely better with the 2.5, I just wish it was a hair more. That's great, post up some pics when it's done!

thanks, i haven't yet, still has the 2.5" spacers with stock arms. But if I get the 3" spacers, Rough Country has a set of UCA's i was looking at. I think for around $330. I'm just not sure if 3 is too much for the front axle angle.

Nice and that's probably what I'll end up going with too and I'm almost certain that the front axles are stationary unless your in 4wheel but I'd be concerned with the tie rod ends at that point though

Yea I may lift it the 1/2 with a floor jack tomorrow and look at things. Of course it still doesn't tell much about the front axles since they aren't turning. I do know that my cousin has a 2016 and he has a 2.5 and he's pretty rough on it, trail driving and going places I would never take mine, and his front axles haven't came out or binded up or broke something . So if I just use mine occasionally on ice or in a muddy spot, driving like a normal person, maybe the 3 will be fine. Not many people seem to run the 3 though, makes me wonder. I'm definitely hesitant with this idea. Haha

I agree, I hate the rake too. RC makes a 3” kit with UCA’s, had very good reviews on RC’s website, so I went with it. I’ve had it for about 6k miles, no issues to speak of. With the kits 2.5” rear block in the back, it was about 1/2” higher in the rear, so they sent me 2” blocks and it’s perfectly level. This is different than you just adding UCA’s because RC’s kit prealoads the springs...different than just adding a big spacer to the top of the strrut assembly. I’m well aware of the risks and the CV angels, etc. decided to take the risk. Been very happy thus far. Time will tell what happens....
