2WD w/ 3.55 E-lock vs. 4WD w/ 3.55 E-lock
I wouldn't consider a 2wd ether, when it's just a little slick on the road I travel to work you don't get second chances with few guard rails and plenty of non driving individuals to avoid so I lock it in, not always for the pulling traction but mainly for the stability and gearing down to slow down without sliding

I had a 2WD 96 F-150 for 9 years and it was a nice truck but I just felt naked without 4WD.

My first vehicle 40 years ago was 4WD ('66 Bronco) and every vehicle I have owned since has been 4WD. Wouldn't even think of not owning a 4X4 in New England. Whether it's driving in the snow, driving on the beach, hauling a boat on a ramp, driving through the woods hunting or helping someone else who's stuck, it's a necessity around here.
