Thanks Shiver! I went with the C rated tiress but they are still about 55lbs each. I have the 5.0 and can feel a bit of power loss. Might have to tune it next.

My Falkens are 50.5 lbs each but I bought light rims (24.5lbs each) to try and counter that... I think I can feel a little power loss, but I have the 3.5 EB and I don't drive with a heavy foot anyway. With the +25 offset and wider tire the truck feels like it is more "planted" on the road, where the 275/65r18's at 40ish lbs each made the steering feel twitchy; now the steering feels like my old Tacoma... a lot more predictable. I'm still wondering if the p285/70r17 Cooper A/TW at 43 lbs each would feel the same or more twitchy.

OP- I like the new tires on your truck! Congrats! Time for some rims...

I threw on some 285/70/17 BFG K02's on American Outlaws (unsure on offset) for my 2017 F150 XL w/ 3.5 non-EB and 3.73 gears. Stock suspension, with no rub. These tires not only look fantastic, but are simply amazing in quality. I had them on my 2014 Tundra and at 40k miles they were still in great shape!

I went with LT tires. I know they are heavy, but there is no way I'd go with a P-rated all-terrain tire with that much side wall, especially with the amount of off-road driving I do during hunting season. If my truck was a pavement runner, then I'd have probably stuck with P rated tires. As for mileage, I can't compare. I literally went straight to the tire shop from the dealership. Right now I'm averaging 16.8mpg and power feels good (no where near as good as my old 5.7 though lol). Truck rides very smooth and I love the stance! No level for me as I (in the minority it seems) actually like the factory rake look. I have no plans for a tune as I'm only off by about 2mph on the speedo and doubtful it would make a substantial difference in mpg. Plus, the only thing I tow is my Hobie Pro Angler (150lb kayak) on a light trailer.

Did you buy those black steelies or have them powdercoated. If you bought them black where did buy them from? Would like to like to buy a set for next winter.

I have 285/70-17 AT3's on 17x8.5 Level 8 Trackers and I have a decent vibration. Ive had them balanced twice now and they still shudder. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or could help me with figuring out a solution.

i have P-rated 285/70/17 Wildpeak AT3s and also experienced significant vibration. Though, my truck was also vibrating (less so) on my stock tires. Since it was brand new I took it into the dealer and they put the stocks back on and replaced 3 of them too which had "dead spots". This fixed all vibrating. Now that I know its tire-related and not a truck issue, i'm going into Discount Tire tomorrow to get my AT3s re-mounted and road force balanced. Fingers crossed.
