My truck is due in around August 2nd. Your truck looks awesome! Any rubbing, cutting or issues if I don't do anything with the suspension?

Sweet! I went with 275/60/20 with a 3 inch lift. I could have went bigger but I like the look

I was afraid you'd say that. That's what I have on order. Was the power loss really that noticable? Not while towing but I'm regular driving around town.

Unfortunately, yes. It was noticable but the ride is better. So it's a trade off. I drive easy so a little of low end loss isn't a deal breaker. Once you get on the throttle and the turbos kick in, you can't tell the difference.

Nothing yet give me a week of driving. I did lots of reading on here from others who went this size with no rubbing.

The only negative, even though they are still a somewhat rough ride, is they killed my power. I was surprised that a tire that is only 1/2" larger and a couple pounds heavier zapped the power like that.
Ya lost me somewhere. The 285/65/20's are a 34.5" tire and E rated. The 275/60/20's are 33" and a D rated tire. The 285's would be a harsher ride, not the other way around since it is an E rated tire. Unless you really meant you use to have the 275/65/20, then that is a 34" tire and also E rated.

I have 275/65/20 BFG KO2s on a RWD 2.7 with no lift as of yet. No rubbing. Ride quality is better than the 265/60/18 stock tires (less bouncy/more grounded) and about the same as the 275/55/20. It's an E rated tire and 34.1".

I have 3.31 gears. I didn't notice a power drop before I put in my tuner. I'm running 5*'s 87 eco tune and I'm still getting about 23MPG.

I find it amazing that a 3.5 w/ 3.55 would have a noticeable power drop, especially since the 285/65/20 is only 4lbs per tire heavier than the 275/65/20 (BFG KO2).

My tires now are 14lbs per tire heavier than the 275/55/20 Hankooks and it didn't affect me much.

The lift changes the geometry of the suspension which can result in a harsher ride but also keep in mind that the Hankooks are a D rated tire and when going up a 285 you are now running an E-rated tire. E-rated and a lift will result in a rougher ride no matter what people tell you.
