285/55/R20 vs. 275/55/R20

I had the bfg 285/55/20 not really worth the money at 350 per tire. I swapped to 275/60/20 which is better riding and cheaper.

This is a good point....the more tire wall you have, the better your ride (in a truck). An aspect ratio of 55 is considered low profile. (at least it was before the crazy 35s came out.) You will feel more road and increase the chance of wheel problems (both scuffing and bends)

Did you regear to a lower or higher axle ratio? I'm looking to go for a 275/65/R20 for my truck but I'm not sure if can handle. Did you have significant powerloss or to high rpm's on highway (>60 mph).
