Hey tareed94. Good to hear from you. you said you occasionally rub. Plus we have found crash bar distances from the factory to vary widely amongst trucks. I was simply stating to be safe stay positive. Take care.

I wanted a negative offset because I like the deep lip rims. If i go 275/55/20 is it at all possible I can fit on a level with spreading the bars? Because I saw on custom offset that someone is running that setup with no rubbing but I don't know how much I trust the website anymore bc I've seen people running -24 with 12.5 tires on a level and claim no trimming and no running .

Hey guys... just a quick question . I have 20x 10 wheels with -25 offset that will have 33x12.5 tires on them on a 2015 screw with a 2.5" front level.
The tires come in tomorrow and I really want to get them put on the truck but I didn't have time to spread my crashbars yet.
My question is can I have the wheels/tires put on by the shop and will it be driveable until I have time to spread the crashbars possibly this weekend? Or should I wait and spread them before having the wheels put on.
Thanks for any help!

On my leveled 2015 Crew cab I had 22x10 -24mm with a 305/45R22 which is 32.80 tall by 11.93 wide (nitto g2's). Before the crash bars I could barely make a 1/4 turn. I cut the fronts out, didn't have to touch the rear and they didn't rub at all that I remember. No one is going to recommend that you cut your crash bars out, but plenty of people do. That is your call only to make. Your 33x1250 would be a hair taller and a good bit wider potentially (some 12.50s are actually 13" wide). I think you can make them fit, but you'll likely have some occasionally rubbing. A little smaller tire (both it diameter and in width) would make your life easier.

Based on these 3 examples ... it looks like the 275/55 would fit without trimming? I wonder if I could squeeze 275/60 with spreading the bars?

I plan to just remove the crash bars. You have to remove the bumper, but I cannot bring myself to cutting them off. The back one I hope I can get away with spreading and just deal with the slight rubbage

I am just going to put one of my wheels on my truck tonight , put a spare tire under it so I can drop it down to height and measure how much clearance I have until it hits the crashbar.... then go by that to determine sidewalk size I can get.

This guy has my wheel setup with a 295/60 tire which is an inch more in diameter but an inch less in width and in the last picture u can see he only had to trip a small portion of the edge of the crashbar. Also another truck with my wheels and 295/55 said he only had to trim a small portion of the rear crashbar. So I really think it may be possible for me to spread the bars and clear it or only need to remove a very small portion of the crash bars.
I wonder which provides more clearance, spreading them or removing and switching the sides of the crashbars

They will fit you will be able to drive just won't be able to turn all the way. Ask how I know. Trim till you can turn or spread the bars. I removed my front bars and cut the rears with 20x12 and toyo open country 33x12.50
