Default 22X11 On 285/55R22 With Just A Level?

Yea, I know another wheel/tire fitment post. I've looked into the depths of hell trying to find info on this and can't seem to dig up what i'm after!

Currently running 35X12.5 Trail Grapplers on Factory 20s without any issues. Truck is a 2015 Supercab w/ a 2.5" level. Supercabs in 2015 have no crash bars so I won't be having to worry about those.

Anyone here have 22X10 or 22X11 on 285/55R22? ( 34.2 X 11.4 )

The setup pictured below is 22X11 Fuel Hostage, -24 Offset and 285/55R22 Trail Grapplers. Guy says no level, but it's obviously leveled. Said all it took was minor plastic trimming and doesn't rub.

Picture below is my truck w/ the stock 20s and then the truck with the 22X11 on it.

I apologize, Nitto now has the 285/55R22 listed at 34.5 X 12.05

That guy clearly doesn't know what was done to his truck. He would have all 4 crash bars, and no way it'd clear. They've clearly been cut out. My friend just put 20x10 -19 Hostile Alphas with 33x12.5 ridge grapplers and they rub the rear bar in reverse. Guarantee a 22x11 -24 wouldn't clear without major trimming with crash bars. Without crash bars you might be fine, it'll be close and definitely going to be trimming plastic.

My truck had a 6 inch Fabtech lift with 22x10 -24 offset wheels with 325-50-22 tires and it rubbed the crash bars. With a leveling kit I don't see you being able to run that much offset and not have to cut them out.

Exactly. OP might be alright since he doesn't have the bars, but the other guy is clearly wrong.

Default Nice pictures

This is about where I want to be as well. What engine and rear-end combinations do you guys have?

Are there any comments about power loss or any other issue you would share?

My truck has the 5.0 in it. 3.31 W/ E-Locker. Power loss wasn't mind blowing, but it was there. Each tire ( 35x12.5R20 Trail Grappler ) is like 77LB. so. My short gears don't help either, 3.73 or 4.10 would be better. But most I pull is maybe a zero-turn, and the 6 speed helps out a lot.

I thought dude was insane. No way it didn't at one point have crash bars. He said he didn't wanna level it that he thought it was high enough already and I thought yea because it's already leveled. Has to be.

I'd like to try it out. The 285/55R22 is overall smaller than what I run, but I wonder if somewhere around -18 would be better than -24.

Im willing to bet the shop removed or cut the crash bars. Hard for me to say if it leveled or not.. He might have taken the rear blocks out.

That could be true. Didn't think of that.

And probably so. I'd hate to know a shop cut out a huge safety feature such as crash bars and didn't tell me before doing so. Because this dude acted like all he did was trimmed plastic. Probably didn't even know.

Even so, if he says he only trimmed plastic, and say he does only have the rear block removed, I should be golden if i'm lifted up front. Maybe.

Yeah, if this guy actually knows anything about what was done to his truck. Haha. I think you'll be alright though.
