Got me curious

OP posted this in July

Took it back, they said that they couldn't find anything wrong and after trying another truck on the lot they confirmed it did the same thing. They suggested that it "might need some more breaking in". Very unhappy.

Thanks!...I guess he should have gone with the '19...armed with 20-20 hindsight..would have been my recommendation...I'm a bit surprised at the number of odd reports about the '20 crop of F150's ..Covid?..Commies?..Solar winds?...don't know but really happy with my '19! Happy Trails! Ol' Rattler rattlin' on, now....

What odd reports are you referring to? A '20 was still a better buy off the lot instead of taking the hit on a '19. Unless you get them to knock off full depreciation for the year (which they never will) and then plan to drive the wheels off it.

... a '19 should have been the bigger bargain and a better deal overall by the timing of the OP's purchase..'20's should have had few incentives and less price breaks..at his purchase time...your deal will vary depending on many factors..savvy buyer or sticker-stucker...I bought at just around 20% below MSRP in September of '19..others did better or worse...As for what did I mean about '20's?...you need to read this board and DECIDE YOURSELF...I saw too many odd issues...you may see..who knows?..ghosts for all I know.....in any case...Happy Trails!...Ol' Rattler rattlin' on, now...
