2020 vs. 2019 F150
Hey guys. New member here...my first post ...and F150 ( if you don’t count my two Expeditions).
I bought my new 2019 F150 Screw Lariat 502a just hours ago. $10k off MSRP. No haggling. I think this is a fair deal. Dealer threw in spray on Bed liner to close the deal...and gave me $12k on my 2012 Silverado LTZ. I never really pushed a deal on a 2020 since I wanted the Platinum White Metallic offered in 2019...similar to my Silverado’s Diamond White Tricoat. The 2020 version was too bright white for my taste.
My Silverado was the best vehicle I’ve owned, but this F150 sure feels like an upgrade.

OK so looking over the window stickers, I could see the following differences:
2019
Boxlink
Electric Assist Parking Brake
Box Lighting-LED
Selectshift
Reverse sensing system
Bucket seats with console
110V/400W Outlet (thought they all had that now???)
2020
Blis W/Cross Traffic Alert
Lane Keeping System
Remote Start-FordPass App
Step Bars (HUGE)
Anybody have experience with the bucket seats vs. the 40/20/40 bench? Big difference in comfort?

It may not state it on the sticker, but both should have the electric parking brake and selectshift if they are both Lariat. The inverter is not standard on the 500a. Boxlink and the LED bed lighting was standard on Lariat 500a in 2018, and became an option for 2019.
I felt the omission of the step bars on my 500a was an advantage. It allowed me to install the ones I really wanted without paying for, or trying to get rid of, the stock ones I didn't want.

The drivers and passenger seat are exactly the same. Only difference is a center console vs a seat and a fold down console.

Check the door jam sticker on both trucks you may find out that the 19 was a late build and the 20 a early build. Or you may find the 19 is a early build 19 built in 2018.
Personally will drive out of the coffee clutch of area dealers to buy vehicles.
No area dealership has failed to work any vehicle. Recall stuff that needs to be done & ect. Those things are done at the same time as the oil change.
Go get the 2020, may get a little more off by holding on too your keys and being antzy to go home to re-look over the 19 closer to home.
