You are an idiot. You thinking the 6.2 is in GM heavy duty trucks just proves it. They still use the old iron block 6.0. GFY

I too like the look of the GM trucks. I think they have great lines "outside". I shopped a GMC Denali before I bought my 2017 Lariat 502a FX4.
For me, the big problem is the interior - seems very cheap compared to the F150. Not just 1 step below, but several. Column shift is subjective....but, I sure like the center console shift.
When I looked at Truck Trend and spy shots of the 2019, it doesn't appear to me GM are deviating much from their interior formula.
RAM has outsold Chevy (not Chevy/GMC combined) for the last 2 months. If they have to suffer a full year of losing ground, it's going to be a big impact to GM.

Ram interior, in my humble opinion, is beautiful. Useful storage buckets in the rear floor. However, I don't think the 5.7 hemi can pass a gas station without stopping to top off! LOL! Exterior looks, are okay.
GMC / Chevy - Gorgeous on the outside! Every time I see one, I wonder if i made the correct decision with ordering my new Ford. Then I think about the interior and remind myself, I definitely made the correct decision. Not so much the whole interior, but the dash and radio stack, i think it was quite similar to the 2004 Avalanche I had!

I'm a former Chevy owner, I was diehard Chevy. I owned an 04, 11, and a 14. My 04 was an awesome truck, GM killed the trucks in 2013 because those new Ecotec motors flat out suck. They are nothing like the old Vortecs! My 11 had the 6.2 and it was ok, drank 93 octane like crazy and my 2.7 ecoboost would destroy it anytime, anyplace. My 14 had the 5.3 and you talk about a dog. Sorry but GM has ruined their trucks for me, I'll never go back.

Idk what I said to you or if you are simply just some bitter old man, but for some reason you have an axe to grind with me? You try to jump my chit every time I post. Because I sold my Ford means I can no longer be a Ford fan and visit a Ford forum? I have offered lots of help and insights over the 4 yrs I have been here, and have likewise received lots of help in return.

Still butthurt about this comment I see.
That's why I always order my new ride and make it clear nobody's to drive it.
I have heard horror stories of guys getting in and WOT the vehicle then slam on the brakes etc. Sadly, it would drive me crazy wondering if that's what had happened to a vehicle that has been out on test drives that I was going to purchase.
I'd like to think that doesn't happen and or it just doesn't matter but when I buy new, I want it to be new. I'm sure a lot of folks aren't worried about it or don't think it makes a difference.
Just personal preference.... that's what the warranty is for.

So, why didn't you go back to GM with al your comments on the Ford? I'm not a fanboy by any stretch, I actually loved my old Titans, but I think it's funny when people are so passionate about a brand and yet go the other way?
