Default 2019 Regular Cab Exhaust

I ordered a 5.0 regular cab and want to change the exhaust. There doesn't seem to be many options for a regular cab so I'm wondering if a supercab kit could be easily modified?

I like the look of the MBRP side exhaust but don't really love the sound and hate drone. I love Corsa and Borla but they don't list regular cab kits.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You should be fine to modify anything that fits a supercab, probably similar length in the pipe there anyway.

I recommend just going to a good exhaust guy and do the right thing.

They are very reasonable and can custom make what's needed to achieve your personal goals.

Here is what I did.

Super cab 145” web regular cab 122” web
Go to exhaust shop and get what fits the way you want. It may involve cutting a 145 set but have it done professionally.

Thanks everyone, my thoughts were that the system should be able to be cut down. I just don't understand that if that's all there is to it, why the manufacturers wouldn't include that in their instructions and make the kits available for all models?

The truck is a shortbox so it will be 122" wheelbase. If it was a long box 145" I'm sure the Super Cab kit would fit.

So I've still been unable to find many other options. I ordered a Borla S Type and can confirm that no amount of cutting will make it fit. It looks like the only options are MBRP, Roush or just replace the muffler and tip. The Borla XR1 muffler seems to have some decent reviews.

Corsa can be made to fit the regular cab very easily with a cut to the mid pipe. The full Corsa system is expensive, but the dB performance system is about $300 cheaper and uses the same Corsa muffler with a cheaper tip and piping. I have the Corsa on my 16 RCSB, and the exhaust plumbing is identical to your 19.
Kooks also makes an exhaust that will fit..

After listening to some sound clips I'm very interested in the Corsa DB. Did you delete the resonator?

Yes I did. I had to shave about 10" or so from in front of the muffler to make it fit my regular cab, but this was easily accomplished with a sawsall on my garage floor followed by an exhaust clamp. I've since had it welded, as I needed to add a resonator back in when I deleted my cats, as it got crazy loud.
