Easily 20k over a well equipped XLT and the dealer discounts are worse. I don't get it, but have at it, someone needs to buy them.

Things you get that the XLTs with basic option packages don't get:
Leather
Cooled seats
"Styling changes" interior and exterior
8" instrument
ACC
BLIS
4a xfer case
Fancier mirrors
Fancier camera setup
Climate control moved to the sync screen
moonroof
LED headlights
Integrated garage opener

I'm probably missing things, but a whole brand new Civic worth of stuff. I just don't see it.

And the Raptor motor now.

Hmmm spend 74k on a truck that is less capable of being a truck than its $35,000 XLT brother or buy an BMW M4 for what seems like a discounted price of 70k in comparison. I would take the BMW. I guess there is a market for it or Ford wouldnt be making them but Jesus, if you need a truck buy a damn truck not a truck pretending to be a luxury sedan for $74k.

Ford knows 3/4 or more people NEVER and I mean NEVER use their truck like a truck. It's a very expensive SUV/station wagon IMO. Ford makes these super high end models for those that want pickups that are really a Lexus of sorts. Heck many are even more expensive then high end cars. My neighbor has a 2017 Platinum that he would never dream of using as a pickup truck. He had to haul some 2x4's from Home Cheapo and asked if he could borrow my dump trailer so he wouldn't scratch the inside of the bed. I let him use cause it's not going to hurt my trailer but it made me freaken laugh...........

In short, that is a $10K premium over an equivalently equipped Platinum. No Thanks. I can pick up a second brand new Fiesta SE for my commute when I am working in the Ohio Valley. But I only have 11,000 miles on my 2014 Fiesta so I can put that money in savings for half percent interest.
