Default 2019 F150 ordering...not able to do this?

I was playing around with a 2019 lariat build. I want a 5.0, fx4, some kind of tow package, and 3.55 gears. Doesn't seem like it is possible. Only way to get 3.55 gears with the fx4 is to choose the 3.5 engine. And if you stick with the 5.0, when you try to change your rear end to 3.55, it makes you drop the tow package. The reg tow package seems to require 3.31. Am I missing something? Why is a 5.0, fx4, 3.55, any tow package impossible?

I have the exact configuration that you are looking for in my 2017 lariat. Don't know why Ford's web page is now blocking that build configuration. Here is the window sticker of a 2019 from a dealer near me that has what you are looking for. Might just be a glitch in their web page.

For the OP, the FX4 package doesn't get you much. I won't buy it on my next truck. The shocks aren't any less crappy than the usual ones, and the skid plates are meh. Save your money, get your 3.55 or 3.73 rear end, add a set of RCI skid plates, and add/enable Hill Descent Control with Forscan.

Yep. That window sticker shows it's possible. Very weird. I def can't do that on their site. Can anyone else?

I have the fx4 package on my 2018 3.5 right now. Shocks suck but go with bilsteins anyway. Isn't there a button on dash next to the four ways for hill descent? How do you add it with forscan?

When I ordered my 2018 end of year a few weeks prior to 19’s it was common to see new trucks with 5.0 and 3.55 yet online it wouldn’t let me choose. At the time it wasn’t a true limitation, not sure if that changed. So you can order at dealership but cannot configure on build site. I choose the 3.73 and had 3.55 on my 16. With the new tranny a little better mileage then the 16 so happy overall.

On on the Fx package the most important feature is ELD which is expensive to add. If you 4x4 you will be happy for the choice. Other then that the rest of the package isn’t important.

The website won't let you do it - the dealer absolutely can.

I haven't done it (I've also never used HDC) but supposedly you buy the right switch, plug it in, and change one bit to enable it.

Agree on the shocks. I'll either go to 5100s or 6112s/5160s in the near future. I'd love to drop an Icon setup on, but can't justify that level of cost.

I ordered my 2019 and it is in - has tow package, FX4 and 3.55 - not able to do it on line either but dealer could. And YES I did verify it is actually this way - I pick it up next week.
