Check out post #264 - #265. That's the latest summary of the procedure. I know how frustrating it can be to get to the real meat and potatoes of info you are looking for in some of these forums. Good Luck
@HeyHeyTommyJ
it looks like yours is the same as mine. We match on the the first set and the second set I saw 56747. I tried multiple times but that was the closest to the second set of numbers. The turbo hoses were in the way for me to pictures from the bottoms down I have a CAI which limited me on the topside
@algab I appreciate your efforts! It is enough to allow me to think that there is a chance of success after I swap out the ABS ECU with the one I ordered. Keep your fingers crossed for me. BTW, I ordered the same VCX NANO that you did. What did you do for software. It came with some DVDs (my computer doesn't have a DVD player) I downloaded FJDS from motorcraftservice. I wasn't able to see the J2534 Pass-thru Device in the list. I was skeptical of the download links from the VXDiag site. The IDSPatch.exe was immediately recognized as trojan virus by windows defender. I wasn't planning to use IDS so I'm sure I don't need that anyway, but it makes me uncomfortable with the rest of their links.
I'll be ordering the 2 day license soon.... perhaps this evening, to try and make this happen.

Their site states that the VCX NANO still does not wok for 2019 F-150s so is that your truck year? If so, be interesting to see if it works or not.
@HeyHeyTommyJ there is a VCI manager app that you will need load to connect for it to be recognized. The IDS patch was an issue with me as well and I did load the IDS app but removed it because I had issues. But once I did that it worked for me. If I remember correctly I did the Bosch and chose Ford VCM II and I was able to do the process.
Wondering is anyone can help me out. Is it possible to add adaptive cruise on a 2018 xlt 302A? If so wondering what everything I need is.... Something about a windshield too? Currently have a broken windshield so maybe this is the right time if I need to "upgrade" it. Thoughts?
I can confirm that the H1BZ-9E731-AE Sensor does not work. I was able to calibrate it, but received a DTC from the IPMA about a mismatch. Luckily the correct sensor (JX7Z-9E731-E) has come way down in price since I started this adventure.
The ABS ECU module (KL3Z-2C219-E) does work as a replacement for KL3Z-2C219-D. I'm disappointed that there aren't any markings on the outside of the part to better identify which version the unit is. According the the dealer service department KL3Z-2C219-D is what was in my truck already and I don't believe that is the case.... so what do I list it as on e-bay?

:@fordpiper As far as the VCX NANO is concerned, it works. The cracked version of IDS that comes with it might not work with the newer vehicles, but if you purchase a license from motorcraftservice and download FJDS, you can use the malware of a "driver" that is included with it to connect to your vehicle. Honestly I feel like a clean wipe of my computer is required after installing that, but it got the job done. Something else to note... I wasn't able to use it with FORSCAN. FORSCAN tried to use the VCI manager that I downloaded from Ford and I don't know how I would convince it to use the imposter manager. Perhaps I could uninstall the Ford version, but I didn't try it.
: @OoOJokerOoO There is and error in your instructions for replacing the ABS ECU 27in lb = 3 Nm at this moment you have it listed as 8 Nm. I believe this is worth editing when you have a chance. Also thank you for adding your process instructions, they lay out the procedure quite nicely.

Unfortunately my FJDS experience turned into quite the cluster with trying to replace the incorrect radar sensor. Short version of the story: Installed ABS ECU - couldn't clear all the DTCs, Changed out the CADS - couldn't get the calibration to initiate. I needed to go back in to FORSCAN and load my AS-BUILT CCM values. (Could have entered them in FJDS manually, but I didn't know what they were.... I had saved them in FORSCAN) Then my OBDLink adaptor kept loosing connection so I had a hell of a time correcting this. Once I got the AS-BUILT data back into the CCM module I was able to get rid of the initial configuration missing error.... then change the CCM back to the suggested changes from this forum... then I was able to calibrate and everything worked as it should.
Thanks again to everyone on this forum for your help. I couldn't have done it without you.

About to pull the trigger on this mod, but before I do, are we any closer to being able to use our stock ABS module? I recall seeing something about someone working on a fix for it a few months ago, but haven't seen any updates.
This will make a great addition to my 502A, disappointed this was the only option the truck was ordered without. Doing the Raptor wheel with the BGG harness at the same time saved me some money on the switch and time.
Hi BC119,
You will have to replace the ABS module there is no way around it. Yes it is expensive but well worth the trouble mine works fantastic.
Good luck with your project if you decide to go with it.
