when you connected your vehicle to Forscan and it detects your VIN make sure you select no to load your profile. This forces it to scan all your modules again. If you don’t it simply gets the state for the previously detected modules.
this assumes it is installed and properly connected.
Sounds like you may not be getting power to it. Depending on your package that you have, you may need to run a wire for power. There were several guys on this site that had to do that. If forscan is not picking it up it's either that or it's defective. there were a couple of posts that they talked about how to tell if you need to run a power wire by looking at a specific wire in a connector.

would you be able to point me to where i can find that thread?
It starts at posting #91 and you have to read through these postings and people talked about what they did. Depending on your package/options will determine what you will need to do. I have the 502a package so I had to buy everything except the IPMA unit. I did not have to run a separate hot wire as the wiring harness worked for me.
So I've been slowly poking at this project for over a year now and was excited to re-visit it with the thought that I might be able to get it to work without visiting the dealer. I've purchased a VCX NANO and am ready to get the FJDS license when I think I'm able to complete the project with 2 days. Here is what's keeping me from purchasing the license right now and hopefully finishing this project:
I went to purchase the ABS ECU that was listed in the forum here. (KL3Z-2C219-D) every where I looked, it shows that it was superseded by KL3Z-2C219-E..... so I ordered what was available (KL3Z-2C219-E) and now that it has arrived, I'm scared that it is the same as the one in my truck already. Although the date codes are different, the numbers that appear important are identical: 2265106539 and 2065956747. If it's not going to be what I need, I'd rather not try and install it.
Can anyone with the ACC already working, confirm that these are the numbers listed on their ABS ECU?
I installed the bumper sensor and steering wheel switch a long time ago and couldn't get it up and running. I was only using FORSCAN and was able to calibrate the radar, but never able to clear the ABS faults.
Anyhow, I could use some guidance and as always, you support is appreciated.
@HeyHeyTommyJ I was like you and waited. I have 2019 Lariat with the 502a package. I had all the options except Stop & Go. I purchased the KL3Z-2C219-D and had it on hand when I did the ABS piece. I first tried programming the stock unit and it failed. I did the IDS process and swapped out the stock ABS unit and it worked. I don’t have the numbers but I believe this was brought up earlier in the thread and it was confirmed you need to swap them out.
@algab I also have the 502A technology package. The only thing that I am missing is the ACC. Livinitup did some testing and had found that the ABS ECU does need to be replaced. I was hoping you could snap me a picture of your ABS ECU since I am concerned that the one I purchased is not actually different than the one installed already. Since yours is working... if it has the same numbers on the outside as the ones that I have, I'll install the new one. If they are different on yours, I'll return the one I bought and seek out the correct one. Thanks!
PS: The numbers are visible from the underside of the truck (unfortunately)
this has been a very informative thread, however, it’s very easy to get lost within the 28 pages.
I have a 2020 502a lariat with the tech package. Lane keep assist and forward collision/emergency braking is now standard options on the lariat. I also have the auto dimming high beams.
What will I need to get ACC working.
I have an OBD2 unit and a willingness to learn.
Thank you for your help in advance.

@HeyHeyTommyJ i tried to get pictures of the bottom but nothing came out focused where you can read the numbers. I have to go through the top for a better line and my arms are not that long but let me try later around lunch (working now) with a taller stool so that I can lean over more with my phone and hopefully get a clearer picture. I’ll let you know what I come up with.

Check out post #264 - #265. That's the latest summary of the procedure. I know how frustrating it can be to get to the real meat and potatoes of info you are looking for in some of these forums. Good Luck
