How did you guys put in the wires in terminal C2994 the connector at the IPMA? Did you buy a whole new harness or were you able to get just the terminal pins to install into the existing plug? Also I was looking at just adding the other end of those wire into the body harness C265 since the engine bay connection C134 already has the wiring I need. Would that work and do you know what terminal pins I would need for that plug?

Thank you in advance.

I got great news today. All of my parts are on their way and will be here on the 2nd of July. So I know what I'll be doing this weekend. Now I just got to figure out the terminal pins needed for the two CAMBUS wires from the IPMA, so I can get them wired. Hopefully I don't have to buy the entire harness just for two pins. Do you guys have any insight on that or tips you can give me?

Thanks in advance.

Mine were already there, so unfortunately I can't be of much help except be sure it's a twisted pair. Apparently that is important

I think you meant C9224 and if so I just added the terminal pins that I ordered from Newark.com. Molex part number is 560023-0550 but might not be able to get so I got the 560023-0548 which will work.

Before you order make sure there isn't anything else you need to wire up now or in the near further because those pins will cost you at least $7.99 to ship and they are only 5.6 cents each. You are lucky if the wiring goes from C265 to C134 and you will need the terminal pins for C265 in that case coming from C9224 if that is how you plan your route.

C265 Female Terminal Pin Molex # 33467-0003
Male terminal pin tyco # 1-1419158-6 (might be listed under 1419158-6 without the 1-)

You can also look st Mouser.com as well.

Thank you s_vares for the reply. Look like you got really lucky. I was only half that fortunate.

fordpiper you ROCK!! You were correct I did mean C9224. Thank you so much for the detailed part numbers! That helped me out a ton. If you have time could you explain how you found those part numbers. I have the service manual for my truck but never saw any information on the pins themselves, just the connectors and not all of them have service part numbers.

Luckily the pins are used for many applications. I do a lot of that repairing pinball machines, well I used to, before covid 😒

Hi JonsF150,
On your wiring question if your truck is not a high option level one like KR2019 then you are probably missing all four wires needed to power and communicate
between the IMPA and CCM. I have a 2019 Lariat with 501A package and it did not have the four wires needed. You will need to make a harness with the four
wires. A twisted pair, hot and ground starting at the C9224 connector and going thru the firewall to the C134 connector using 22ga. wire.

Excuse my ignorance but where are c9224 and c134? I have a 502A so I am hoping I have the extra wires. I am concerned I may have bitten off more than I can chew on this upgrade. Is there a way to see if they are there ahead of time? If so what am I looking for? Pictures if possible.

😳😭😪

I also have the 502A. The C9224 is the connector at the IPMA it is green in color and you are looking for PINS 3 and 11. Those are the CAMBUS network to the CCM module.

C134 is on top of the passenger side frame rail just behind the front bumper and as you can see with the PDF what pins you might need.

Not the best picture but all I have at the moment.

Hopefully that can help you out some.
