No issues! Love it. Have not heard a clunk, felt a clunk.
Have the 3.73 and 2.7, and I love this transmission.

They do clunk and pop when shifting...nothing too extreme.
As for searching for gears...the 10 speed is designed to skip gears. It will go say from 3 to 5 for example.

My truck has a slip now between 4 and 5 when first drive of the day.

Ford did update the transmission programming on my truck - it was good for about 6 months but now seems to be going back to how it was.

What you're experiencing is not a slip. You'd have bigger problems if it was already slipping. Mine does the same thing about 10% of the time. It's a pretty substantial hesitation when shifting from 3-5 early in the morning, first shift. Every shift after that is fine. 29k miles on my 2017 10 spd and I love it. Pulls my 26' Hauler (8000lbs) just fine up into the mountains in 100* AZ heat. After test driving every other brand out there, it blows my mind why anyone would settle for another truck. The Ecoboost paired with the 10spd is by far the best powertrain out there for towing (in a half ton) IMO.

clunk will happen .. shifting and hunting issues are not issues.. its how Ford programmed the transmission .. if you drive in sport mode it goes away .. truck has too many gears for only going up to 100 mph.. there is a post on how to lock out gears .. that may help as well

2019 Limited w/ 9200 miles. Yes clunk happens once in a while 20-25 mph acceleration when trans gets confused what gear it should be in. Using Eco magnifies the wandering/jumping between gears. Very annoying so now I just don't use ECO. Transmission was trained from day 1 for long highway runs with reasonable acceleration to highway speed (80 MPH), I feel this aggravates the lower speed intown speeds..

I've followed this forum and many others for years and can tell you several things. When some people have an issue (real or imagined), they use the forum as an echo chamber and they will do multiple posts. Most people are trying to figure out what's going on with their trucks, talk about mods they've done, and offer experiences (fixes and issues). You really need to read and determine if the answers are real or guesses, and complaints aren't someone who just has an axe to grind.

One person, in another forum complained about his tires wearing out in less than 5K miles. Finally someone mentioned he knew the guy and (the guy) would try to impress his buddies with his "great" donuts and how long he could leave rubber from a dead stop. No more complaints about tires from him for any reason.

My opinion (plus experience) and everyone is welcome to their own.
