Are you guys sure about the Lariat SE grille being "tarnished grey".Imho the Lariat SE grille is gloss black and the XLT/STX are flat black (talking about the honey comb insert) When I bought my Lariat SE grille, it arrived already painted J7 Magnetic and the grille insert is gloss black. Neighbor's STX grille looks the same but is flat black....
It is possible that my grille is the XLT SE grille and that the STX version is the flat black and the Lariat SE is in fact a "tarnished grey".

The XLT SE grill is gloss black. I have one laying in my spare room and it’s gloss black mesh.

I own a 2019 Lariat special edition- I asked about the grill color when ordering my truck. It made sense back when the wheels were also a tarnished color. Now the wheels are black, but grill is the same. I can send you a photo of my grille if you like

No I dont need a photo. I'm actually selling mine as too many people now have this style grille. Best looking OEM grille but too common now.

I liked it because it reminds me of my 2004 XLT. Wish Lariat had the black grille but the tarnished color matches my Abyss Grey nicely and it is not big enough deal for me to swap it out.
I'm sorry to whoever made that truck, but it is hideous. The wheels are horrible looking and overall it just doesn't look like any Harley truck from the past. Who helped with it, Ray Charles? I love the old Harley's. They have great looks to them.
The 2019 Lariat SE has a dark grey eggcrate grille. One of the few things I was disappointed with on my truck. Should have kept the gloss black insert for the SE instead, IMO.
