2018 XLT 5.0 FX4 sport lunging when upshifting

Let me start off by saying I've been very happy with my purchase. Without this site I would have never known about the $3000 PCO. So grateful for that. I've been searching this forum and came across a lot of complaints with the 10 speed transmission but I have a pretty particular issue. Ok, so the only time I notice this issue is when I'm pulling out of work. To access the main road the driveway is set on a pretty steep incline. When pulling out the transmission will shift from 1st to 3rd gear fine. Then the issue is when shifting from 3-5 or 4-5. It feels like the truck loses power then shifts causing a lunge. I tried to recreate it unsuccessfully on a flat road but only occurs when accelerating on an incline. Am I just being paranoid? I dropped my truck off at the dealership and ran into my salesman and told him of my issue. He said if the truck is not sending error codes they probably wont do anything. Any help is appreciated.

I wonder if it has something to do with skipping gears while shifting. Have you tried putting the truck into Sport mode, which will force it to use all 10 gears, to see if that makes a difference?

Yeah, many people including myself have experienced the same issue. It also happens occasionally when downshifting too or coming to a stop. Ford has a lot of work to do with the trans tune on 2018s... it seems like almost all of them have these very same issues.
