Keep it going as some of them really Irk me.
I have an 18 Lariat and there is an oil life % and auto dimming driver mirror. I have the trailer tow mirrors and the drivers side has auto dimming. My oil life % is currently sitting at 87%. You'll find it listed in Advanced Settings.

I have the Lariat 501A. Look for the oil life % under Advance Settings on the dash menu.

Thumbs down

So after review it used to be on the display screen but now its under advanced oil life reset. Once you hit reset it tells you remaining. Not sure why Ford did this but at least its here.

I believe Ford decided to strip a few standard things as optional or obsolete for 2018. IIRC, someone was upset that the 2018 302A doesn't have auto dimming on driver side mirror, bed lights are optional now, etc.

You can't get this on an XLT at all in '18? Have to step up to a Lariat?

Kinda makes me mad as well. They basically leave the base price the same but give you less. Also charge more for options. Been looking at window stickers on 17s and 18s.

I believe so. Looking on Ford's build site I don't think it's even an option. Must step up to a Lariat now.

I know that I kind of thought this when comparing the 2017 and 2018 trucks. Specifically looking at 302a packages. The 2018 302a package doesn't come with LED box lighting, sliding rear window and power outlet whereas the 2017 302a package comes with those things - you have to add the XLT Power Equiplent group to the 2018 302a XLT to be the equivalent of the 2017 302a. As I recall, when you add the XLT power equipment goup to the 302a for 2018 trucks it's the same price as the complete 302a package was for 2017.

Looking through brochure, does seem dimming driver's side mirror is gone for XLT - it was on the 2017 301a.

It does here in Canada should be same there, just no auto dim mirror.
