2018 Raptor no sunroof. Dry so far. There are a couple of 2018 Raptors that the cab vent on the back of the cab passenger side were not properly connected and leaked.

Thanks I learned a new word. The seal was redesigned in the mid model year 17. Ford constantly improves their manufacturing processes especially when there are concerns by owners for a problem that has been reported in volumes. There are plenty of threads regarding leaks, but he specifically was asking for 2018 owners experience.

2018 no moon-roof, passenger side foot-well FULL of water. After a hard rain I could hear water sloshing back and forth when I accelerated or stopped. You could push down on the carpet on the passenger side and water would come up over your hand. When I took it into the dealer they said " Oh yeah, we've done a bunch of these. It's going to take a couple of weeks to get it fixed.". Apparently water is leaking from an unfilled body joint into the body and filling the rocker and also coming down the A-pillar. So they have taken the interior completely out and are replacing the carpet, padding, firewall insulation, body control module and four wheel drive module. All of this after pulling out the windshield so that the seam could be resealed. Going to pick it up today and I warned the service writer about squeaks or rattles. He said "don't worry this guy is really good he has already done a bunch of these.....". Guessing I'll be turning this one in at the end of my lease...

Default 6 mo old 2018 Ford F150 Platinum water in cab

I cannot believe my eyes. 6 month old truck with water leaking under the dashboard into the cab. The 1st time it happened I blamed operator error. Thinking maybe a bottle of water sprung a leak. Now I am sick to my stomach finding this again after heavy rainstorm. I checked sunroof, door seals and any obvious places I could to locate where it came from. After lifting up the Husky liners I found MORE water and now a damp smell. Dried out area and praying they can fix this in an all electric panel vehicle. BEST of all is snarky comments from dealership that it's just condensation from the A/C. Which made me direct seek legal counsel.
Anyone else have issues, advice and knowledge of Ford Detroit's statement to me about a buy back? HELP!

Default 2018 Ford F150 Water Leak

I have a 2018 Ford F150 XLT Sport with less than 2,000 miles.

I recently had a water leak on the drivers side.

I used a wet vac and got over 1/2 gallon of water out of the carpet.

I left the doors open during the day for three days and the carpet finally dried.

It rained again tonight and the carpets are wet again.

There is no water on the seat and none on the door panel.

Damn, that's worrisome. And probably what has happened to all other owners reporting moonroof leaks. Could you guys please post your build dates? They're on the white label on the door jamb, above, in the middle (mm/yy). And eghauk, if you have details where exactly is the seam you're talking about, please let us know. Sounds like it should be visible if we climb with our heads in the middle of the windshield on top of it, no? That's bad.

About moonroofs, ALL leak, if that means water getting into the moonroof cavity. There're videos showing this 'alarming' fact. But as noted, water is channeled out of the cabin via drain hoses. In rare cases, they're not hooked properly, or become clogged, but it's a rare occurrence. Strangely, all report the leaks at the front, so could be mistaken for what eghauk is talking about, Very interesting on seeing pictures of the 'before' and 'after' fixes, if somebody eventually has any. Thank you for that crucial information.
