2018 Towing Mirrors for XLT 8 pin

I have a 2018 XLT with the standard mirrors with turn signals. I see they're heated, but manual fold. No idea if they auto dim.
Will the tow mirrors JL3Z-17696-BA fit? Do I get any additional functionality besides actually seeing what's next to me?

Without extra wiring you get what you already have. The mirror that you refer to has puddle and spot lights (along with heat, power adjust and signals) but if you don't have the wiring, the spot and puddle lights won't work. The real advantage of these mirror is that they pretty much eliminate your blind sport. I am happy about that.

I'm reading conflicting reports. Do they come with the adapters? I'm thinking not since they're OEM parts. What about upgrading to Lariat door harnesses? Anyone have the part numbers? I wish all this info was in a sticky or FAQ or something.

Just heard back from a seller on ebay to confirm that it didn't have the sensor and it doesn't. I guess I'll just wait some time and hopefully soon these aftermarket ones might start to include them. Can one uninstall the sensor from the OEM mirror and attach to an aftermarket one?
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks!

Anytime you get a 22pin mirror setup and you have an 8pin truck you can use the ebay conversion harnesses to adapt your stock wiring to the female plug on the mirror. My 18 was an early build so my AAS is still in the grille, but I needed the conversion harness. Most of the features of the tow mirrors like spotlights & puddle lamps don't work with my truck because mine came with the base mirrors, but it was all easy plug and play for power & heat. I was able to use mirrors from a 2017 with zero problems and easily reversible back to stock when I get rid of the truck.

I'd also like to wire up the puddle lamps somehow. But for now, I think the tow mirrors with the bigger fisheyes might be nice. I miss my old F250 mirrors.

Check PM Zimm. Regarding puddle lamps, that may be a foreskin setting? But maybe hardwire?
Not that I'm that self conscious or anything about my trucks appearance LOL (yea and no one is here...), but does anyone have before and after pics of their F150 standard or small split mirrors vs the "basic" (not power retract/ fold) tow mirrors on their truck?
I tow a boat and love good mirrors, and my '18 XLTs are better than my '09 Silverado's. But will my truck look like Dumbo (can we say that these days??) with these tow mirrors?
