2018 Special Edition Interior --- Yes or No?
I really like the Special Edition trucks but I struggle with the red accents. Looking for feedback from others.
Not so worried on the stripes I kinda of like them and if I get tired they are simple to remove. I love that they did tone down the XLT red significantly but I am more inclined to go with the 502a this time around. Those of you that have recently looked and went one way or the other I would love to hear from. If you got more comfortable or less comfortable after a few months that would be valuable as well. Thanks in advance for any feedback you can give!!

I went back and forth on this for a few weeks before placing my order.
I started with the XLT, and later moved on to a Lariat for some of the additional features I really wanted. The bigger red accents on the interior really limited the exterior colour I was willing to choose. I did consider either race red, shadow black, silver or grey.
I was impartial to the interior. I really didn’t care for the red and white stripes (the black looks good). And I grew to not like the style of wheels.
Despite liking the grille and headlights of the SE, I opted to go with a Lariat Sport 502a with the 18” wheels. I have found a stripe kit identical to the XLT SE. I plan to add that once I take delivery of the truck.
All just my openion. Hope it helps.

^^^I'm the other way around, I like the interior, but keep the stickers in the factory, not on the sides of the truck. I almost bought the SE package on my '17, except there were only two in a 3 state area, one black, and I don't recall what the other was.
Now, Ford has offered the option of the sticker delete.
The interior, IMO, does not look good with certain exterior colors, but the colors I like, it works well.

I didn't like the interior on special edition or the stickers but I loved the blacked out headlights and the grille. So I just got a sport Lariat and swapped out the headlights. The grille is cheap too, around $350.

I am placing an order in the morning for this package.. I am getting magnetic, which I think complements the interior. I love the black leather with red piping, unique, something totally different than I've ever had.. You can order with or without the decals on the outside. ( hockey sticks) as the dealers call them.. I still haven't made up my mind if I want to delete the decals or not.

The orangish-red on the Lariat SE seats is just as ugly as the orange on the color option seats in the Raptor.
