I just bought my 2018 F150 special edition 2 months ago. I bought it because I loved the interior and the front end. Plan was to remove the decals when I brought it home but wife said leave them on. I removed the sport 4x4 decal right away and it helped. But now I am thinking on removing the side and tailgate decal and leave the hood one for now. I can get new decals for $275 so I could put them back on if I wanted.


What is everyones opinion? Remove or leave them on?

If you removed them from your S.E. please post some pictures. I need some motivation.

did you remove the hood decal?

I have tinted the front windows to match and if I leave the hood decal, I might get my roof wrapped black to match the hood.

I'm having the same argument with myself, on my new Lariat SE. I've given some thought to leaving the hood and the lower stripe, but removing the four smaller bars off the door.

I did leave the hood, it looks OK IMO. I also removed the EB badge on the tailgate, and put two back on the doors like they should be. Only thing I might yet change is the stupid square exhaust tip. Looks so dumb. IMO, exhaust should always be round. Otherwise, love my truck, and how it looks. Good luck getting yours the way you like it!

Anyone else? Another reason to do it is waxing the truck. Don't feel like taping the stripes each time I polish and wax my truck.

I recently bought a SE as well. Mine is a Lariat in Magnetic. I am undecided as well. Mine are Black, White, and Red. I plan on get it ceramic coated, so if I leave them, they're on for good.....


p.s. I will say some pretty hot chic took a pic of my truck today at the gas station.....

I also have the Special Edition in Oxford White, but I'm keeping the decals. At first I wasn't sure, but they've really grown on me. Plus, it makes the truck a little more unique, which I like.....
