Default 2018 Power Board Control Module Wiring Diagram

Im trying to add power running boards but im having trouble figuring out which way to gi about it. I have 18 lariat and it lookslike it has the module already but i cant seem to find the ends, not sure if it has them at all. Can some point me in the write direction on where to find the wiring diagrams. Thanks in advance. The boards being installed are oem takeoffs.

Not much help on a wiring diagram, but the module you have pictured is the TCU (Telematics Control Module) that is used for Sync Connect. It does not relate to the running boards.

Chances are slim that you have the module installed - Ford rarely installs modules if they are not used from the factory. The OEM boards interface with the trucks CanBus (networking) system and are difficult to make work by having power/ground alone. Someone in the 2015+ section added OEM power boards after adding the necessary module, wiring, and programming to their truck. You probably need to take a similar route; you might get lucky and some wiring could be in place, but it always depends on what connectors are in place on the various cab harnesses Ford uses.

In 2018, Ford moved the location of the PRB module from the back wall of the cab to the back of the center console and changed how it attaches to the truck. I agree with nerd3rd, you probably don't have the module pre-installed and unless you have a 502A or higher trim package, I would doubt you have any of the wiring either. When I get home tonight, I'll post of picture of the spare 2018 PRB module I have so you know what to look for.

Thanks Guys, I found the location and there is no wiring. Not a huge deal, but decided to mount the boards to see if they would fit. No luck, the bracket hits the frame as they retract.
